Our members are bound together by one central affirmation: “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and I accept Him as my Lord and Savior” (based on Peter’s ‘good confession’ in Matthew 16:16). Communion and membership in our church is open to anyone who shares that affirmation of faith.
Beyond that one central theme we recognize the right of each member to complete freedom of interpretation and opinion. One of our founders, Alexander Campbell, said, “…there exists no natural division between God and the individual soul.”
It’s a pretty simple idea, as religious creeds go. And with such an atmosphere of openness and freedom of expression, you can see how we can get into some pretty thought-provoking discussions!
Our church is a warm, friendly place where people just like you join together to ask spiritual questions and search for answers that apply to daily life. It’s a place where God’s love and Christ’s presence are very real.
