Maintenance Technician

A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Richard is a U.S. Navy and Vietnam War Veteran. Worked with the U.S. Geological Survey for 14 years before resigning to become an entrepreneur. President of Driving Force Enterprises (automotive group) for 9 years and then co-owned two retail stores in Harrison after moving to Newton County in 1997. Musician, former race car driver and published author. Served on boards of Newton County Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, Library, and as Chairman of Harrison Skate Park Committee. Retired in 2016 and began to work part-time as Maintenance Lead at First Christian Church.
